Among other positions, Cheah was previously a reporter at Sin Chew Daily, the Editor-in-Chief of Sing Pin Jih Pao, and the Managing Director cum Editor-in-Chief of the United Post. Throughout his career, Cheah has authored seventeen publications, including:
