Yes. All accounts registered with our previous website are not transferable to the new site. You can sign up here. You can also purchase books without creating an account. With a registered account you can view your recent orders, manage your shipping and billing addresses, and edit your password and account details.

Your total shipping charges will be calculated at the checkout page after you have confirmed your item(s) and entered your delivery address.

The delivery process by courier will take approx. 2 – 5 working days for domestic orders (via Pos Laju/ GDex) and 2 – 4 weeks (by air) for international orders (via Pos Malaysia/ SingPost). Please ensure you or a representative is available to receive the item at your address.

We will usually fulfil your order by the next working day. However, delays may occur for orders made over the weekends and Malaysian public holidays.

Once your item is collected by the courier, we will email you a notification with a tracking number. To track, visit our respective shipping partners’ site – Pos Malaysia/ GDex/ SingPost.

Our shipping charges are calculated by weight and destination. We provide economy shipping rates within Malaysia and worldwide.

We ship to international countries by air freight with exception of several countries not serviceable by our local courier. Check our shipping zones for countries we deliver to.

If you have not received your item after the estimated shipping duration (2 –5 working days for domestic/ 2 – 4 weeks for international), please write to arecabooks[at]gmail[dot]com or call (604) 2618186 (10am to 5pm, daily GMT +8).

Delays beyond our control may sometimes occur due to customs checks or flight disruptions.

Usually the courier will make attempts at delivery and leave a delivery card in your mail box if there’s no one to receive the item. Undelivered items will then remain at the nearest courier hub before being returned to sender after 7 days. We will inform you if the parcel is returned to us. You can then choose between a refund (minus shipping charges already incurred), or to ship the same item(s) again (additional charges will apply).

We provide refund for the following:

  1. Damaged product upon delivery

If the product is faulty upon arrival – torn, water-damaged, bent, dented, creased or contains printing error, we will on our discretion (a) provide a full refund or (b) send a replacement copy free of charge. Ask for refund due to slight imperfections will not be entertained.

For the refund to be completed, we will either ask for the customer to (a) return the product in which we will bear the postage cost or (b) tear the front and back covers of the damaged product. The period to communicate with us for refund is 7 days from the date of receiving the product. For refund, please write to

2. Unavailability

In the case of product that is of out of stock , we will provide a full refund to the customer. However if a replenishment is in the process, we will notify the customer and dispatch the product as soon as it is available.

For purchases made with PayPal/Credit Card/ Debit Card, a full refund can take up to 30 days to show on your account while EFT for local bank account can take up to 7 days.
