Have you ever stopped to really listen to nature?
In our busy cities, noise is everywhere. We often miss the gentle sounds of leaves in the wind, birds singing, frogs calling, or insects humming. But if you go into the rainforest, you’ll hear a whole new kind of music!
Did you know? Some rainforest animals can really sing — including primates(monkeys and apes)! Malaysia has 25 kinds of wild primates, and many of them make special sounds. But the best singers of all? Gibbons!
Gibbons are amazing forest singers. Every morning, they sing loud, beautiful songs through the trees. But why do they sing? And how?
All of this is told in our brand new picture book “Yoyo the Gibbon”!
