About the author
Rexy Prakash Chacko is an engineer by profession, and a nature-lover by passion. Born and bred in Penang, he started hiking at the age of 12, spending his childhood exploring the hills around him and the many natural wonders of the state. An outdoor junkie who perpetually needs a getaway from the city, he is a keen hiker and a dedicated environmentalist. Rexy co-founded Penang Hills Watch (PHW) in 2016, a crowdsourcing platform to protect Penang’s precious hills.
