Founded on February 2, 1931 by Rev. Father Michel Bonam, St. Anthony’s School began humbly in a wooden shack adjoining St. Anthony’s Church. It was established to serve the children of the parish, guided by the motto Caritas Non Ficta — “Charity Without Hypocrisy.”  Named after St. Anthony of Padua, the school opened its doors to just 11 students, setting in motion a legacy that continues to thrive.

Over the decades, St. Anthony’s became synonymous with quality education and strong moral grounding. Its teachers — firm, dedicated, and passionate — instilled discipline and values that shaped generations of Anthonians into responsible citizens. The school’s corridors have been graced by outstanding educators and countless students who went on to excel as doctors, lawyers, engineers, teachers, civil servants, and even national athletes.
